AI & Call Recording Notice
For callers
If you called a business and were answered by Vyntara, you spoke with an AI assistant working for that business, not a person. The assistant tells you this at the start of the call, and it will confirm it whenever you ask. It answers using information the business has provided, and it can take your details, book appointments, and connect you to the business's staff when the business has set that up.
Some businesses record calls. When recording is on, you will hear that the call may be recorded at the start. If you don't want to be recorded, you can hang up and contact the business another way, such as by email or in person.
Calls are transcribed and summarized for the business. To ask about, correct, or delete information from a call, contact the business you called, or email us at hello@vyntara.io or by mail at PO Box 117, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 with the phone number you called from and the approximate time, and we will help.
Vyntara is not an emergency service. If you have an emergency, hang up and call 911.
For businesses using Vyntara
- AI disclosure is on by default. Your greeting includes a statement that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant. Some states require this. Keep it.
- Recording is your choice. If you turn it on, a recording notice is added to the greeting. Several states require the consent of everyone on a call before recording. You are responsible for making sure your use of recording complies with the laws that apply to you and your callers.
- The receptionist follows your rules. It quotes only the prices you list and does not offer discounts, guarantees, or advice. Review your configuration and call summaries regularly.
This notice is general information, not legal advice. If you are unsure what rules apply to your business, consult a lawyer.
