Acceptable Use Policy
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It lists things you may not do with Vyntara. We may update it as new risks appear.
You may not use Vyntara to:
- Break any law, including laws on call recording, consent, consumer protection, privacy, and telemarketing.
- Place outbound calls or send text messages to anyone who has not given the consent the law requires, including under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
- Make political, election-related, or debt-collection calls, or any robocall campaign.
- Deceive callers, including by making the receptionist claim to be a human, impersonating another person or business, or hiding required notices.
- Harass, threaten, defraud, or discriminate against anyone.
- Collect protected health information, Social Security numbers, full payment card numbers, bank account numbers, passwords, or similar sensitive data.
- Act as, or replace, an emergency service.
- Offer goods or services that are illegal, or that Stripe or our telephony providers prohibit.
- Generate artificial call traffic, including traffic pumping or repeated calls to inflate usage.
- Attempt to access another customer's data, probe or attack our systems, bypass usage limits, or manipulate the receptionist into revealing its instructions or other customers' information.
- Resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement with us.
What happens if this policy is violated
We may remove content, pause your receptionist, suspend your account, or end your subscription, depending on how serious the violation is. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
Reporting abuse
If you received an unwanted call or message from a business using Vyntara, or believe the Service is being misused, email hello@vyntara.io or by mail at PO Box 117, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 with the phone number and the time of the call or message.
